Green star quest - could've been executed better but still superior to just playing the game through again as Luigi.Less bogged down in story (Some people have a different view on this, but this is how I see it).Yoshi, more power-ups, more galaxies, leading to greater variety in gameplay.No rehashed levels like Gold Leaf Galaxy in SMG.Ice Mario and Flying Mario, why were these bad boys not back in SMG2!?.Better hub world, though still to be honest not a great hub world in my opinion.Levels that had a more explorative theme.It was the first, it laid the groundwork (but I won't be considering this in my final comparison as that has nothing to do with the quality of the two games, it's just worth mentioining).Now, going into my comparison I should note that I literally consider these two games the best two games I've ever played in my life. Ok, firstly I think to call either "by far superior" is pretty much objectively wrong - these are very similar games and therefore the difference in quality is going to be small to middling at best.
